In the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic,a group of recent graduates felt the need for a tangible space for art and artists. This yearning marked the inception of MOS, an organization that would evolve over time into a thriving artistic community.

At its core, MOS is driven by a profound awareness of the virtual realm that has become an integral part of our existence, mirroring our presence on this planet. In our pursuit of artistic innovation, we embarked on our journey with two distinct exhibits: “Double Tap” and “Manifest” These exhibitions dared to challenge the boundaries of artistic expression by harnessing the possibilities offered by the digital age.

“Double Tap” and “Manifest” showcased artists who embraced the digital tools and materials readily available in the virtual world. It was not merely about documenting physical artworks; instead, we viewed digital media/material as the genesis of each piece, providing artists with a canvas for reimagining and recontextualizing their creations in novel and captivating ways.

The enthusiastic response from the artistic community, coupled with our keen observations of Pakistan’s evolving art scene, underscored the importance of MOS. We firmly believe that our mission extends beyond achieving a finite goal; rather, it is an ongoing journey of discovery and growth, one that we are privileged to undertake alongside fellow artists. Your unwavering support is the cornerstone of our endeavor, and for that, we extend our heartfelt gratitude.
